Experienced Prision Officers

We are looking for prison officers who:

Prerequisites

Applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

  1. be 22 years of age and above;
  2. be physically fit and healthy (confirmed by fitness testing and a Doctors medical check);
  3. be of good character and have no significant criminal history;
  4. possess a current manual driver's licence;
  5. possess a current Senior First Aid Certificate;
  6. have a standard of education commensurate with the performance standard requirements required to successfully carry out the duties of a Prison Officer;
  7. be Australian citizens or have permanent resident status;
  8. be mature with high ethical standards and demonstrated integrity in your work;
  9. be culturally sensitive;
  10. be prepared to work in either Darwin or Alice Springs Correctional Centre locations;
  11. be prepared to work shift work;
  12. have demonstrated computer skills.
  13. have more than 12 months experience working in an adult custodial facility
